Assessor Comments
A quality line of Santa Gertrudis and Santa/Poll Hereford backgrounder steers presenting in healthy store condition. Well weaned and successfully introduced to feed, these steers display good frame and conformation as well as a quiet temperament. Showing plenty of length and capacity, these steers offer strong growth potential and will make an excellent backgrounding article. The vendor has two other lots in this sale. Please Note: Four steers exhibit old blue eye scarring, which is not deemed detrimental to sight. One steer has half a tail as a result of a previous injury, which is fully healed. One steer has a floppy ear due to a previous infection. These traits are considered cosmetic and are not deemed detrimental. A small percentage were noticed to have seasonal ringworm.
