Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
These heifers have very good frame for their age as they've had to tuff it out whilst hay was cut off the farm through Spring. They didn't stop growing as they had all their drenches and needles, but have only recently started being fed better and are very quickly stacking on the weight into that frame. Would suit either as breeder heifers for temperament or feeders due to their frame. This is the lead draft of 150 Angus heifers, with a further 65 slightly younger sisters available also.

Handled most days in the paddock. Either shifting strip tape or in paddock with tractor feeding silage. Generally pushing through them when cutting silage, or they are curious and observing at close range. Have culled heavily for temperament over the period of ownership. Not all paddocks have electricity, and heifers still all behave.

Assessor Comments
Lovely line of easy to handle black heifers. Good frame for age and would suit feeders or breeders. Have had pretty much every drench or needle available & handled daily with regular visits to the stock yards. Very even line of heifers, with 65 more slightly younger angus sisters (230kg-275kgs also individually weighed at assessment of 85 head), also available should the successful purchaser wish to fill a truck.
