Only 1 head/1% strong FS1. Weaners are growing/loosing milk fat and showed plenty of energy and strength through the yards. Will be suitable to travel long distances and Fit to Load Standards will apply. Buyers transporting over long distances must make their own allowances.

Very good to handle through the yards and behaved very well during assessment. More contested calf under pressure in the crush odd calf did feel threatened and get agitated, but calmed instantly once back in a bigger yard and mob.

Offering 86 Crossbred Vendor Bred Steers. All the hard works been done, this line of one brand steers have been yard weaned since Sunday 30th July and have had education twice through the pound, race and crush. Exceptional wearers to handle and will remain on very good quality hay until delivery. At assessment weights ranged from 168 to 315kg to Av. 224kg and have done .6kg per day since branding. Bred by out of medium to large framed very well bred Brahman X and Brangus Cows with the Charbray types by Palgrove sires the others unknown Droughtmaster/Speckle Park sires. The sires of these calves were not intentionally joined to the cows and the best breed description has been given, please see photos for your reference and judgement. Approx 30hd do have slight Brahman Hump and a third do have brindle typed coats. 32 scurred steers are very very lightly scurred. Vendor also offers 207 Angus & Simmental in the same sale.

Brahman Cows purchased Ex Banana and Rockhampton, Ex El Rose Cows and VB Brangus cows. Chrarbray typed calves are by Palgrove sires, others unknown.
Grazing Conditions
Fresh green and dry Mitchell, Flinders and Buffel Grass also Native Herbages and a very odd Prickly Acacia Tree.
Returned to: Steers will remain in the yards being fed very good quality Oaten Cereal Hay, grown locally at Muttaburra.
