Here are some Composite type heifers that have been drafted on the amount of Bos Indicus content in them. These are considered the “flatback” types that should suit to background to heavier feedlot entry weights for the major domestic supermarket trade. They would also be highly suitable to go to bulls for future breeding operations and with the breed breakup could stand most breeds of bulls. They have been pregnancy tested non-detectable, however that being said there was a neighbours Charolais bull removed at assessment. Noted 3 heifers with slight old blue eye scarring but no sight issues noticed. Also 2 with what looks to be old ring worm scars and an additional heifer with light warts on the head. There could also be a small amount of lice in them but no dramas here. There are 174 in the run and they will be delivered as a “run out the gate” into two even lots if purchased by multiple buyers. Many of these are “brindle baldies” and history would suggest they seem to do like steam!

Heifers bred out of Composite females that consist of Brahman/Hereford/Angus/Simmental/Charolais/Limousin and all their crosses. Bulls used over these are Brahman, Angus & Hereford. Some bred at vendors other property at Alpha and at Killarney.

Big body of Buffel grass that is frosted on the top but still very green underneath.

Heifers have had no antibiotic or grain at any stage of their life. These are just surplus to further breeding requirements and represent a normal turn-off.
