Assessor Comments
87 VGQ HGP Free Vendor Bred Santa Cross Steers. Majority Exhibit Very Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age. They are suitable to finish on Crop, Grass or Grain for the Supermarket Trade or Heavy Export Markets. They are Quiet, have Good Feet & are from a Well Regarded Herd. There is 1 Steer with minor Flybite markings & 1 Charolais Cross Steer that is a bit harder but I wouldn’t grade him as Double Muscled (see photos). Ayrshire has some Prickly Acacia, however it is not in seed at present.
