These steers flowed well through the yards with minimal fuss, handled in a quiet manner. These steers have benefited from the owner applying the Chook Kealy method of handling. They are regularly moved in a rotation and have been exposed to plenty of handling. Odd steer got a little upset in crush but soon settled when returned to its peers.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, all the hard has been done here. These steers all purchased in April unweaned have had extensive handling and animal health treatments, they present very well considering the amount of rain and cold weather that they have endured over the past 3 months. These steers would normally be sold at traditional feedlot entry weights however the rain sodden paddocks need a spell. To fit on a neat 3 decks and offered both dollars per head and cents per kg. They are ideal to go onto a backgrounding ration or continue on grass to traditional feedlot entry weights, alternatively they would also be suitable to take to heavy MSA weights. These steers have received a Bovilus MH + IBR on the 2nd of June and we can supply Bottle ID Ect. Odd steer with old pink eye scarring not detrimental. One steer noted to have scarring on hips which is healing. Some steers with rub marks. These steers should bounce away if shown some warm weather.
