Assessor Comments
A good line of feeder weight steers that ideal articles for the feedlot, steers offer a lot of compensatory weight gain as they are all frame. Weighed out in a tight group weighing from 370 to448 kgs at assessment. The Wilmot backgrounding program usually would see these steers held to heavier weights but the prevailing seasonal conditions have forced their hand offering a great opportunity for a domestic feedlot supplier to capitalise on a line of even steers that would suit a 70 day feed program. Please note some steers are showing signs of active lice.
