Assessor Comments
On offer by "Mannion Pastoral" Ex Nundora Stn are these 2024 drop Angus heifers. 178hd offered as 2 x 89hd lots run of the gate. At assessment weighed 196-350kg to average 286kg after a 12hr curfew. Sired by Larrikin, Narranmore & Granite ridge Angus bulls over Angus and very small percentage Angus cross cows with some throw back to their crosses with slight excess skin on the neck and a shinier coat. Being the vendors earlier drop calves they have matured well for their age with the season in the far west and present in store condition. 7-10 months of age calves are showing good growth and stretch for age and will develop into a nice line to target feedlot weights or grow out to a quality line of heifers to join. Although used to running in big mobs in large paddocks these cattle have been well handled showing good temperament and were a pleasure to work in the yards No obvious markings but small % could have some white under belly. No heifers retained.
