Assessor Comments
A very good quality line of unweaned Autumn drop heifer calves, presenting in very fresh condition & exhibiting excellent carcass shape with squareness & softness in abundance. These Speckle Park cross heifers have all been sired by WATTLE GROVE Speckle Park sire (WGS P110), allowing for good evenness & consistency of type across the mob. They are out of large framed cows, & possess the breeding potential to develop into heavy future breeders, whilst also maintaining the carcass shape & early maturity required to finish into Trade markets as yearlings for a fattening operation. These heifers would normally be grown out & retained by the vendor as replacement breeders however, due to continued dry weather, & feed quality diminishing, the decision has been made not to hold any replacements this year. Attractive, quiet cattle that would grow out into lovely quiet future breeders given the opportunity. Vendor has 17 steers from the same drop on offer this sale as well.
