9 Vendor bred Devon cross weaner heifers that have been bred on the lighter eastern country of Demon Creek. Weaners were generallhy uneasy at drafting and assessment, nothing showed any aggression or malice with most behaviour normal to lesser handled weaners. Heifers weighed 147kg to 192kg to average 166.4kg following a 16 hour dry curfew. Weaners will be held with their mothers and fed in holding paddocks. Vendor will deliver to Tenterfield Saleyards subject to weather - note short delivery period. Weaners accessed over 4 paddocks so they could be returned to their mothers. Brother & Sister lines in same sale.
