These steers were no trouble to handle. The odd steer moved quick if isolated but settled immediately when back with his mates. Overall very good to handle.

An attractive lot of well bred Angus steers. They are sired by Texas Iceman sons and bred out of Macka Angus females - the cows purchased out of Annual Macka’s female sale. These steers are well grown and stand on good bone. They have plenty of length and are starting to really appreciate the sunny days. It has been a particularly wet winter in this area and these steers will explode from here on. Currently losing plenty of old hair and starting to clean up. Easy to handle and will suit large or small operators. They are up to with all vet treatments as listed earlier in this assessment. Ideal steers to finish on grain or crop. They should meet a range of markets - Supermarket through to Heavy Export. Vendor bred, Antibiotic Free and Grass Fed. NB 2 additional lots in same sale - 6 Steers and 11 Heifers.
