Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Steers are all score 1's and fit to travel most distances. I would advise long distance transportation to factor in a spell.

Ext. Breed
Please note there is one steer out of an Angus cow by a Poll Hereford bull. Noted approx. 7 that look to have been slightly later castrated and still show some male characteristics but this should dissipate as they mature further.

Steers were very good to handle in a good set of yards. Only the very odd steer did resent being in the crush. Very quiet to move around out in the bigger yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, a load of Paspaley Poll Hereford steers that have a very good reputation and present in store condition. They have only been weaned for 4-5 days and it looks to me that they had already been self weaned, they have no milk coming out of them at all. Now these are weaned there are no options available to retain them as the feed has cut out and as a result regrettably need to be sold. Steers will suit backgrounders to take to heavier domestic or export feedlot entry weight specifications. They are a longer-term proposition, I would say these would respond very well on either improved pastures or winter crop. There are 225 of these being offered in 2 lots and will be delivered as a ‘run of the gate’ with a focus on both loads being delivered evenly. In the whole run there are 13 with old cloudy blue eye scarring in 1 eye an additional steer with scarring in both eyes and a further 7 with eyes that have been treated with Orbenin (2nd treatment). Will be great buying at the $$ value.
