Temperament not assessed in Paddock
"These steers are well-handled using side-by-side ATVs, dogs, and vehicles. Throughout the assessment, the steers were calmly walked into the yards without fuss. They moved freely throughout the yards, remaining soft and responsive to pressure while the initial draft was conducted through a round-yard drafting system. All steers passed through the weighing and head bail process with minimal fuss."

Assessor Comments
90 Yearling Angus x Angus steers purchased from Victorian weaner sales in early January 2025, these steers have averaged 335kg. Weights were recorded post-yard and immediately processed with a 6% curfew applied. All steers have received their first dose of MH + IBR injection (11/6/2025) and are up to date with animal health treatments, including 5-in-1 vaccination + pour-on drench (15/1/2025). They were retreated with Genesis Ultra on 26/4/2025. These steers are in good forward store condition and, as seen in the photos, are ideal candidates for winter crop finishing—suited for heavy feeders, domestic kill, or export slaughter. Having withstood over 2 meters of rain year to date, they are resilient and will thrive given the opportunity.
