Steers were lively in the crush but settled straight away after exiting. The settling in the yards can be seen in the photos. They show strong movement when moving from pen to pen as can be seen in the videos but then will stand quietly when left to do so.

Assessor Comments
A mostly good quality line of backgrounder steers with a range of frame most medium with 4% large frame and 5% small frame. The complete drop of steers with a small tail removed, they suit a backgrounder to take to feeder weights or further. Note grass market eligibility will depend on the type of program given the supplementary feed. They have been treated twice with Bovilis MH + IBR - bottle and batch numbers available on request. Some steers were noted with swelling on upper neck at injection site. One steer noted with warts on the neck and face. Regarding hours off feed, the steers were mustered into the yards 30 hours prior on good quality green hay and water up to just prior to assessing. Also available this sale same vendor are 58 heifers plus 30 heifers closer to Guyra same family similar breeding.
