Easy Steers to handle in the yards, they had a bit of run in them at first but settled after a while. To be fair they were run in straight off crop and assessed. A few played up in the crush but nothing unusual there. The videos was taken after they had been assessed so that will tell the story. Overall well handled cattle that have yard weaned, worked through the yards and a rotational grazing system.

Assessor Comments
94 Very good quality steers that are on the move . Steers that have the frame and scope to put a lot of weight on. Landfall bulls have been introduced in the last few years and you can see the length and conformation coming through in the steers. The cows have been selected with a focus on growth, conformation and temperament. The vendor has another lot of steers also in this sale and the tail has been taken out. NOTE Depending on truck configuration the 94 should fit onto a b double, under our fit to load obligations we will hold back some if necessary.

PICK OF 3 FULL FLUSH HEIFERS
Palgrove Charolais
· Flush · Charolais · Sire: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · Dam: PLEASE SEE CATALOGUE · PK25W83E, PK25W44E, PK25W53E (Pick of 3 flush sisters) True to our word, when we release females of this calibre it’s a genuine opportunity to secure the very best our program has to offer — something we don’t do more than twice in a decade. These three full flush sisters, all from one of our elite donor females, represent a rare chance for new or established stud breeders to invest in a future donor female with enormous upside. We couldn’t split them, so the choice is yours — and what a statement they would make at the World Congress in Brisbane this August. They are out of a proven donor female and sired by Rockerfella, who sold to the Ascot Stud for $100,000 in 2022. His first sons featured in last year’s sale, with 20 sons selling to average $20,737, underlining the consistency and demand for this sire line. They also have a full flush brother from the same program who is something truly special. If we don’t retain him, he will feature as a highlight bull in the yearling section of our September sale. Their dam has an outstanding production record, with 20 recorded progeny before the age of five, returning over $100,000 in her first year of sales from just five progeny. This included Ultrahot, who sold to Futurity Charolais for $40,000, and another daughter who sold to Black Duck Charolais for $18,000 as a 10-month-old heifer, who has since entered their donor program. The granddam is also a prominent donor with progeny reaching $36,000. A further first-calf Landmark daughter retained in our herd and full sister to Ultrahot ($40,000) was flushed this year, producing 14 eggs, reinforcing the exceptional fertility and consistency of this female line. You take the choice — and ‘Make your Mark’ on the Charolais breed.
