Overall these steers were good to handle. A couple of steers were unsettled when pressure was applied in the yards but
once taken off they settled down. Cattle handled well through the race/crush and on the scales. These cattle have been
educated to move when pressure is applied but also settle when the pressure is off.

Excellent line of vendor bred Angus Steers. The vendor has been using the highest quality Angus genetics available in their
herd with a focus on 600Day Weight & IMF. The Galimbang cattle have a history of performing exceptionally well on feed
and would suit any backgrounding or finishing program. The Galimbang 2021 drop Steers Feedlot feedback MSA Index
63.65 just outside national top 10%. Provided with the right opportunity these steers will excel for the successful purchaser.
Steers would normally be retained by vendor and grown into heavy feeder steers. These steers have had their 1st shot of
Bovilis MH+IBR and are eligible for the feedlot Bovilis rebate. There were 16 steers noted at assessment with an old
pinkeye scarring in one eye only, but still had full sight and there was a small amount of rubbing marks present on some
cattle. This is the complete drop of 2023 Galimbang steers with approx 8% tail removed. Excellent opportunity to put 190
vendor bred Angus steers back together
