Steers were weaned on the day of the assessment but generally handled well in the yards considering. The steers were quick up the race and through a gate but could be blocked easily. The steers should settle further after a 5 to 7 day weaning in the yards prior to delivery.

Offering 94 solid weaner steers that averaged 370.3kg live at assessment. These steers are well grown, were all weaned on the day of assessment and will continue to be until delivery. The steers show good frame and are sired by Angus bulls that have done a great job on their progeny. The steers are in good condition and will be a good asset to put away as heavy backgrounders and grow out into heavy feeders or bullocks. Please note there are another 3 decks of weaner heifers in the sale from the same property.
