Heifers worked well through the yards at assessment running through the draft twice and up the race. The odd Heifer stirred a little under pressure in small yard and in race but steadied once back with the mob. In bigger yards cattle were quiet to walk through.

Buyers 95 PCAS eligible Santa/Angus/Droughtmaster X heifers that present with plenty of frame and have been weaned for 3 months. Heifers show good bone, length & depth to suit both future breeding or feeding. Heifers were weaned in August and have been running on a combination of red mulga country with access to softer creek flats with good herbages. Heifers were assessed after a large curfew so expect buyer to see good compensatory gain once back on grass. At assessment 1 x head were noticed with one eye showing some old blue eye scarring but not seen as detrimental.
