Heifers were a pleasure to assess. Odd weaner was excited in crush and wanted to turn in crush/race but settled back into mob quickly. Heifers have been well weaned and yard trained.

A very good quality run of Angus and Black baldy heifers out of the renowned Sherwood herd to be sold as 2 decks. heifers were weaned in February and have come away with recent rains after a very tough start. Sherwood cattle are known for their do-ability and perform very well in feedlots. These heifers will be suitable to breed or feed, and should reach feeder weights quickly and domestic/export weights if given the chance. This lot represents 50% of the Sherwood heifers and have had a 35 head tail removed prior to assessment. Hazeldean & Te Mania bulls out of Hazeldean/Boco blood cows. Ideal 'low dollar per head' cattle to put away and forget about.
