THESE YOUNG WEANER STEERS HAVE WEANED VERY WELL AND HAVE CONTINUED TO DO SO SINCE WEANING 4 WEEKS AGO. FURNEAUX HAVE BEEN SELECTING HIGH PERFORMING BULLS FROM LAWSONS, GLATZ ANGUS AND STONEY POINT
AND CAREFUL SELECTION OF FEMALES HAVE SEEN THE HERD DEVELOP ENORMOUSLY. THE YOUNG STEERS SHOW GOOD SCALE, GOOD BONE STRUCTURE AND MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT. THEY HAVE PROGRESSED VERY WELL SINCE WEANING AND WILL DEVELOP INTO IDEAL FEEDLOT STEERS, AND ALSO FOR THE PROCESSING SECTOR. THERE IS A PERCENTAGE OF ANIMALS SHOWING EYE SCARRING. AND A SMALL PERCENTAGE SHOWING RINGWORM SCARRING.
