Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers mustered in easily to a relatively small set of portables in a congested environment yet very well and expertly handled with very good stockmanship the heifers flowed through the race and crush well. A very small number became agitated when confined or isolated yet settled well when returned to the mob. Cattle were turned out directly after assessment with horses and bikes and left the yard quietly.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a good to very good quality line of ORGANIC USDA, NOP and GAP certified heifers that will suit all backgrounder and/or organic programs. These Preg tested empty heifers are progeny out of Ultrablack and Utrablack cross cows and are noted performers on either crop, grass or grain. Heifers present in mainly forward store condition and have had plenty of yard time so as a result I would expect good compensatory gain given the right feed conditions. Buyers please refer to the videos and photos for full and accurate breed description. There is the odd heifer with a small amount of fly rub and 2 heifers with old scarring on the eye.

A good run of ORGANIC Ultrablack and Ultrablack cross heifers that are showing plenty of frame and no excessive condition. These should really bounce ahead on either crop, grass or on grain.
