Heifers were basically very good to handle in the yards and crush. Like all cattle they just need to be steadied through gateways etc. There are a few ring leaders that do tend to trot about out in the bigger yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a line of heifers best described as Composites (mainly the Reds and Euros) bred out of crossbred cows. These would suit restockers to background to heavier feedlot entry weights off oats this winter. Would also suit restockers looking to rebuild breeder numbers and are ready to mate to the bulls of your choice. Most are flatback types with only 2-3 with a bit higher Bos Indicus content with a bit more ear and slight crest visible in photos. Noted approx. 6 heifers with brindle markings. Also noted 2 heifer with light warts on them. All guaranteed for clean country entry and will scratch clean on farm. These respond well to horses, bikes and dogs. Please note there are four lines of heifers in this sale from the same vendor off two properties.
