These steers were a delight to handle yarding up from the cooler into the yards & to work through the pound and the crush. The steers that were stirry & slightly stirry in the crush were from being isolated or asked to stand on the platform for too long or while being mouthed but once out of the head bale and back in the big yard they settled quickly. They were very good to walk through and take photos of, little to no rush being moved from yard to yard.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity to secure a line of good quality, highly sort after feeder steers from that will not disappoint. These steers are from a renowned herd in Western QLD & have a reputation of being noted doers on grass and grain. These steers are showing good growth & weight for age with a great frame ready to put kilograms on. The Cavendish herd has a lot of emphasis placed on growth & weight for age, buying high weight gaining bulls & high EMA scanning bulls. Ideal steers to take on & finish on oats, grass or grain. Buyers please note the delivery instructions. Steers can only weigh at Blackall Saleyards on Monday & Tuesday, can way Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at Barcaldine Saleyards.
