These are well educated steers that were fine to handle throughout the assessment. They were walked several KM to the vendors yards to & from assessment & behaved perfectly. Under pressure within the the yards & singled out for weighing some steers became agitated & wanted to get back to the security of the mob. Once back in the mob they were more settled. Although some were flighty, no steers showed any aggression at all.

Tops of the drop, big stretchy steers that are well grown & ready to power on and fill out for their purchaser. The Lieschke's select top end sires from both the Sprys Shorthorn & Scotts Angus programs to continually strive to breed the best commercial cattle they can. Sires are selected for carcass, growth, structural soundness and good temperament. These steers are well educated & were yard weaned in March. These steers are on a grazing wheat crop and have the foundations laid to be ideally suited to continue to perform, growing & gaining weight. 20% tail draft removed at assessment, Highly recommended
