Very well mannered young steers! Have been tailed & educated with the dogs & horses, mobbing up easily, and handling well in both the paddock and yards. All brought from the backyard by a single, lady handler without any hassles, and easily led their way in to the race & crush. Just the 4 listed above that were a bit anxious in the crush, doing some stomping and tail flicking. Steers that have had a 10/10 start and will only improve with age & handling.

The flashest lot of steers in the yards.. the ones that always have the agents banner above their pen - That’s these, the renowned Towong Hill Station Steer weaners. One of the oldest herds of Angus cattle in Australia, with a genetic makeup boasting over 50 years of using the renowned Lawson Angus genetics, with the more recent introduction of Ardrossan & Table Top Angus to access & even further push those EBV’s chased by market demand. Towong Hill Station are renowned for producing these outstanding steers weaner’s, that are repeatedly sought after by some of the toughest bullock fattening critics, including many in-house clients. Steers with the reputation & genetic make-up to be the perfect line to suit either a feeder or export operation. Note. Steers were consistently 220-320kgs at assessment to average 280kg, with a couple of standout big 350kg boys that came through & blew out the initial 100kg weight range!
