Generally, steers moved well through the yards during the assessment process. Some steers have some run in them when being moved around the yards and 7 steers became agitated in the crush but calmed once through the draft. It's worth noting that this was their second time through the draft and crush for the morning.

Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of vendor bred Angus Steers. Steers offered are the top draft of the vendors Autumn calves with their lighter brother retained. These steers are KO and Aristocrat Blood, up to date with all their animal health treatments and have been weaned for 2 weeks. They're showing exceptional growth and weight for 9 & 10 month old calves and continue to power ahead on fresh green pastures. The 'Weowna' cattle are renowned performers, and these steers are true to form presenting in ideal, type frame, and condition. Steers would suit further backgrounding or could be inducted into the feedlot now. Please note the steers have been given a 4% shrink as they'd been in the yards for 5 hours before assessment.
