Assessor Comments
Buyers here is a great opportunity to secure a load of light feeder Angus X Angus steers that have weighed 324 - 422kg to average 363kg FULL. A neat 3 decks weighed into specs to suit a buyer looking to background off crop to suit a heavy feeder export job. These steers were purchased in May 2025 at the Wodonga Weaner sales. All top quality genetics seen in the south with only 3 lines within the total 160 angus steers purchased by the vendor. These steers are hitting their straps, in the paddock optiweigh has them averaging 1kg/day for the last 90 days. It has been a cold wet winter in Rocky Creek and these cattle will continue to stack the kilos on while on a rising plane of nutrition.
