Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
well weaned sore condition weaners steers. A few fresher steers in the mob however most have well and truly lost the shine of mum's milk. Ready to explode with some fresh feed.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These steers were really gentle to draft. They penned up well and flowed up the race well. the few that were not settled in the crush settled quickly when back with the mob. They have been very well handled by the vendor with horses' dogs and bikes and have been mustered and moved since weaning a number of times. They were a lovely quiet mob to walk through and take photos with no sign of panic or flight

Assessor Comments
The Shandon Park steers present an excellent line of soft type cross bred steers that are ready to explode with some fresh. They are a mix of breeds that would suit the feeder market or would certainly grow out to be bullocks. These cattle have the genetics perform well and past sales show they do. They are very well handled and easy to work with. They have been pretreated on 8/10/24 for tick with Starmec injectable. It was noted that one steer has a small amount of rain scald on his forehead.
