STEERS WERE VERY QUIET TO WALK THROUGH AND WORK THROUGH THE YARDS. THE ODD STEER GOT AGITATED WHEN PUT UNDER PRESSURE IN THE CRUSH & RACE. ON THE WHOLE THEY WERE EASY TO HANDLE

Offering 125 even line of light weight weaner Steers. The steers are bred out Brangus/Brahman/Composite cross cows by Senepol/Angus Composite bulls & Brangus Composite Bulls. The Brahman cross steers were not found to be high grade Brahman however showed some crest. They were very quiet to walk through & handle. Steers have been on Agistment at Longreach since April however came down as very light weaners bred off very hard Spinifex & Spear Grass country that will explode on good feed with all the hard work done. Steers only being sold due to the deterioration of the season from some spoiling rain. Steers ranged from 170.5kg to 281kg to average 229kg full. Only 4 steers under 200kg with only 1 steer under 190kg.
