Assessor Comments
Buyers a great opportunity to secure a Good 4 deck line of USDA NOP Organic steers. Steers were weaned at assessment and will be fed good quality Organic grassy Lucerne hay ,weaned ,educated and returned to paddock until delivery. Out of Large to medium framed Simbrah, Charbray and Brahman cross cows by Brangus ,Charbray and Brahman bulls ,they are best described as predominately crossbred types with a small percentage of higher content steers in mob ,most show good length and bone and depth of breeding to go on to heavy weights. Ideally suited to take through to the Lucrative Organic heavy feeder or slaughter market or alternatively if entering the conventional market they will suit all Pasture fed programs having never been fed grain, no antibiotics or HGP in their lives. The lighter tail has been removed. Please note steers had a 14 hour curfew at assessment and a further 5% delivery adjustment made to allow for weaning process prior to delivery.
