Assessor Comments
On offer is a 3 deck line of backgrounding steers that have excellent weight for age. At 6-9 months, weighing at 275kg (curfew weight) straight off the cows. These steers have been weaned at the same time of assessment. They have been bred out of large frame Brangus Cross cows that are putting all production into the calves. Cows were purchased in calf to Angus & Santa Bulls. Refer to photos and video for accurate description. Steers have been given a HGP in early August at the time of calf marking. One steer was noted to have a cyst on cheek, not seen to be detrimental.
