These weaners behaved as expected considering they were just weaned off their mothers. The old steer moved quick off the scales however settled quickly back into the mob. They will be handled daily up until delivery. Cattle sold off “Trevalynn” are good to handle.

28 Angus X Black Simmental steers that were weaned at assessment. Sired by Sugar Loaf Black Simmental Stud Bulls. October/November 2023 calves. In light condition however strong and healthy. Plenty of stretch, bone and shape due to Simmental influence. They should suit various markets from local trade/supermarket through to heavy bullocks. Ideal steers for winter crop or supplementary fed steers. Out of medium to large frame cows & heifers and should mature into heavy steers. Antibiotic Free and eligible for Grass Fed markets. Lots of upside to these young steers. NB Vendor has 32 weaned Heifers (sisters) in same sale.
