Cattle are a pleasure to handle. Cattle are easily able to be blocked up by capable stockmen and flow through the yards well. Odd steer stirred up in the crush but settled quickly once back into the mob.

Assessor Comments
Buyers on offer is 179 hd (5 decks) of EU Shorthorn weaned steers. Moombidary steers are known for great temperament and some good softness and are always competed for strong in the market. These steers have been mustered at the start of the week and weighed 265.2kg after a 15 hour curfew. Cattle are in strong store condition with a large amount of compensatory gain to be had by the purchaser. Steers have decades of breeding behind them with Futurity shorthorn bloodlines and will not disappoint on grass or grain. Ideal steers to take on and grow out for feeder markets or export job. Steers I expect to bounce away on good feed and gain kilos quickly to suit purchasers markets. Please note 7 hd had warts please see picture and 5 hd eye scarring- not seen as detrimental. With wet weather around vendor is willing to work with purchaser for delivery. Please contact selling agent to discuss weather situation at Moombidary. Local trucks can be arranged for delivery.
