Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were very sensible to handle throughout assessment. Brought from the back yard by a single handler, self loaded into the crush, and exited at a walk via the side gates, always remaining very calm. Extensively handled, and kept in a containment feed yard, making them very quiet and easy to handle. Let out for the photos/videos in to an unfamiliar paddock incited some joie de vivre, with plenty of kicking up & excitement until settling down & returning to their laid back disposition.

Assessor Comments
Very smart line of Booroomooka Angus Blood Steers. Cattle that have been well nurtured through the tough Autumn, never seeing a hard day or experiencing a set back, then brought in and continued on at lib silage. Good shaped steers with excellent yeilding potential. Big bones, good length, depth & added width thanks to that hybrid vigor. Ideal line of well started, quick turn over cattle to take in to the Spring and finish, with a temperament that would make them safe & easy to handle by a mature aged farmer, or a stock person of any level of experience.
