Heifers were a pleasure to handle through the yards, odd heifer baulked going into the weigh box or exited the headbail after mouthing briskly, neither of which would be considered unexpected. after assessment Heifers stood quietly and calmly for photos and in many instances needed to be moved away from the camera. walked out after assessment easily with 2 men on motorbikes.

Assessor Comments
3 decks of Red and Black Santa and Ultra Black type heifers. Temperament is spot on with these girls handling very well through the yards and easily let out after assessment, it is not hard to see the education they have received. Core Breeding herd is made up of predominately Drensmaine and canowindra Santas, Rondel Droughtmasters, 5-Star Senepol/Charolais cross throughout. Ultra Black influence from Ardrossan and Palgrove. 14hd of #2 Heifers 10 of which are 4 tooth with the balance milk and 2. 100% weighed at assessment after 15 hrs off feed and water 295-532kg curfewed weight to average 395kg. Large percentage of polled heads, good weight for age, moderate frame and an excellent education. these heifers are well suited as trade heifers in southern markets or enough quality and style to retain as future breeders.
