Assessor Comments
Very good quality Angus cross steers HGP Free - well grown & relatively even in overall strong forward store condition with frame, potential & scope to quickly gain weight on good quality feed. Usually retained by the vendor and grown out to heavy feeder weights for regular feedlotters. By description Angus/Santa/Angus cross and show very high dominant Angus traits & characteristics in the main. They would benefit from a fly preventative treatment (depending on destination) with some showing early eye weeping / fly irritation at assessment. There may be some more develop due to the dry dusty & increased fly irritation with hot humid conditions - please take this into consideration in your pricing. Be sure to view the photos for breed clarification and style. Offering 2 lots of 102 Angus cross steers as a fair and even run plus 1 lot of 158 Santa & Santa x steers in the same sale.
