Heifers move well through the yards and respond to pressure. Some heifers in the group do tend to move away quicker than others in the yards and tend to agitate in the weigh box. The heifers were fine to handle, see media included.

An excellent line of 80 x Aug/ Sep 2024 Drop NSM Bongongo Blood Angus Heifers. This group of heifers are the tops of the drop; a rare opportunity for buyers to purchase Birroon Station's entire draft as no heifers will be retained. The heifers present evenly as a group, they exhibit plenty of frame for their weight and will perform very well if given the opportunity, capable of reaching joinable weights in the spring. This group of heifers have experienced a tight autumn and cold winter; they have performed well given the conditions. The heifers in this group were classed on frame, weight, coat quality and overall type. The heifers will grow into medium to large frame cows. Birroon selects sires for growth, fertility and structural soundness. This group of heifers responds favourably to calm handling in the yards and presented well for photos and assessment.
Birroon will offer 161 x NSM Heifers.
