Assessor Comments
A nice line of 67 x Sep/ Oct 2024 Drop Poll Hereford Steers. Bred in the renowned Okeview program at Winderadeen, Collector. The steers are sired by leading Poll Hereford bulls from Cascade, Bowen and Tycolah. This group of 67 x steers are typically the youngest in the drop, a tail was removed at assessment. Season alone dictates their sale. The steers are yard weaned and have recently had their booster 5 in 1, B12, Cydectin Platinum and Multimin Evolution. Well educated weaners, the steers are bred from a very good herd of large framed, soft easy doing Poll Hereford matrons. These steers would be suitable for back grounding for feedlots or grass finishing. The steers generally present in fresh condition having been weaned and are in excellent shape to take advantage of a strengthening cattle market.
