Assessor Comments
Offering 4 red and 2 horn tipped steers from the entire drop of Black Poll Limo sired Angus cross weaner steers. They are on the do and are very fresh. They are well weaned with all recent husbandry requirements up to date. Berthong Station have been in cris/cross program with Limousin and Angus bulls for decades. Purchases in recent years are of Black Poll Limo and Angus bulls from Mandayen Stud in South Australia. This follows many years of Renny Lea and Hazeldean angus bulls which have created a great base from the original shorthorn based herd of decades ago. No burrs noted at assessment, but the creek in which they are grazing does have the odd plant. These young calves will keep powering ahead given the right conditions.
