Offering on behalf of BAY OF ISLANDS FARM - Irvine Family are 35 high performing Angus Weaner Steers. Steers display great bone and structure, and present as a very neat and even line to avg 413kg full / 395kg curfewed. 65% of the 2024 drop was sired via A.I being Te Mania ‘Legend’ & ‘Peso’, with balance sired by registered Te Mania sires, with a strong focus on carcass traits, notably high IMF and heavy grain indexes. Steers are bred from medium to large framed cows, that are nearing full Te Mania blood, with a small portion of cows that are Rennylea & Booroomooka blood. Steers handle very well, starting with great temperament in the cow herd, followed up with thorough weaning (weaned start of Feb25’) and handling practices. Please note the husbandry details for buyer confidence. Steers come highly recommended. Please note steers will be sold $/kg, steers will be weighed at weighbridge full less 5%.Please note vendor also has a further 85 ‘2nds’ of the drop in same auctions plus sale.
