Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Four steers were slightly agitated when in the crush and often exited quickly. However given they have just come off the cows and had limited handling they were generally good to handle. They were very good in the bigger yard except one steer who was quite unsettled. It is anticipated that he should settle with handling through out the weaning week.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of vendor bred steers which are mostly Angus and Angus x. Steers were weaned at assessment, they will be fed oaten hay and worked through the yards daily up until delivery. They were assessed as 56% Medium framed with the remainder large framed. They suit to take to export feeder weights and then finish for a range of high quality slaughter markets. They are by mostly Te Mania bulls, with a Minnie Vale Charolais bull responsible for the two creamy steers. These steers are grass market eligible - they have not been fed grain, cotton seed nor have they been treated with antibiotics. Located 38km SW of Bingara & 74km from Narrabri, the Vendor is offering free delivery within 100km to the successful purchaser.
