Cattle are in a very strong store to forward store condition at assessment, would look to have no concerns trucking long distances. odd lighter condition steer below 3mm fat, fit and healthy and will travel without any concerns.

Steers had had minimal handling at time of assessment however still worked extremely well through the yards. Small percentage baulked going into the weigh box or tried to turn around in the race. when moving between bigger yards steers worked very well and had little to no trot with no-one controlling the lead. exceptional temperament that will only improve with more handling over the coming week.

Returned to: Steers moved to vendors fattening block on the 10/04/22 after tailing & education. moved into holding paddock of predominately Flinders & Button grass

An excellent line of 1st round weaner steers showing their potential early. generally these steers would be held through to feeder weights however with a below average season on our downs country we have made the decision to sell steers early.
