Assessor Comments
Outstanding opportunity to purchase a line of young breeding ewes from Parakeelya Poll Merino Stud from Beacon WA. A high percentage of these ewes would have been retained for breeding purposes within the stud but have been classed out due to seasonal conditions. Large framed, plain bodied and with very good bone and structure these ewes would suit the most astute of wool producers with their high quality, heavy cutting ,white wool production. With over 50 + years of Merino breeding and the last 20 being Pure Poll Breeding, with Leachim genetics infusion. A highly fertile flock with an average lambing of 120% in 2023 and lambs were weaned 2 weeks ago, and these ewes are on an upward plain in weight and condition. These ewes are recommended for all sheep enterprises.
