On offer is a total of 510 Cashmore Oakley ewe lambs to be sold as a run out the gate of 255. An opportunity not to be missed to purchase some of the best ewe lambs on offer in my opinion. Only twin baring ewe lambs & one and a half ewes have been kept as replacements for a number of years. Weighing in at 48.9kg, these ewe lambs show terrific weight for age. The Pegler family has been running a self replacing Cashmore Oakley composite flock for over 20 years, In this time they have focused on having ewes that are easy care, highly fertile with a high milking capacity to produce fast growing & quick turn off lambs. In recent times, they have been selecting on Phenotypes with bare breaches , clean points and tighter skins. Rams used to breed ewe lambs are all purchased out of the top 5% EBV band. Retained ewe lambs marked 130% , whilst the main flock marked 155%. Opportunity to purchase ewes that are easy care and produce terrific supermarket / export lambs with top line genetics.
