The second draft of the Strowan ewe lambs, 38+ kg up, ave 39kg at time of assessment. Two lines of 150. They are averaging 290 grams a day weight gain. The Wesley Dale Strowan Enterprise has been selecting Cloven Hills sires in the top 5% for maternal$ index. Sires also selected for high early growth, positive fat & adult ewe weights, which has bred a flock of high performing breeders. These ewe lambs present in high condition, being well muscled with good confirmation, style & type. They are well renowned for their hardiness & great doing ability. Finished trade lambs from this flock generally ave 24-25kg with great carcass shape & ideal fat cover and always in high demand from processors. These ewe lambs have had 2 x 7 in 1 GlanEry Vac + B12, Scabiguard, drenched with Trifecta & jetted.
