Cloven Hills ewes are bred from a Coopworth base (fertility & hardiness) with 40% = terminal predominately White Suffolk & Poll Dorset's (growth & carcass) ; with recent infusion of high ranked NZ Tefroms that have high fertility and growth, but moderate adult weight. Moderate adult weight with high early growth is a key focus at Cloven Hills. Heavy selection pressure on physical (black feet & type) and measured traits, selecting ewes that hold their condition score in tough conditions. Cloven Hills sires have lead the Australian maternal sires in recent years. The tops of the Cloven Hills commercial ewes with leading maternal genetics for prime lamb production. Ewes are eligible to all states, bid confidently knowing you are buying some of the best genetics on offer. Their are 360 ewes in this line to be sold as 2 x 180. Lambs are all crutched, drenched and had booster, they come with an excellent bill of health.
