On offer is a line of first cross ewe hoggets, June/July 2024 drop. Ewes are sired by Dunnield Border Leicester rams out of Pooginook & Gullengamble blood Merino ewes. They are true to type ewes showing good medium to large frames. They have been joined for 6 weeks from 4th November to 17th December to Arakoon Poll Dorset rams (Tattykeel blood) at 2%. Rams have not been removed from ewes for long enough to pregnancy scan prior to sale, however ewes have been given a good joining. Ewes have only been running on natural pastures with no grain supplementation, and present in good condition given their feed. These ewes present a great opportunity to purchase young ewes with all the hard work done, joined to lamb from the start of April for 6 weeks.
