The second draft of the "Apsley" maiden ewes - none retained!. May/June 2022 drop, Ballatherie Blood, mulesed, July shorn. The vendors are not retaining any females of this drop. 2 even lines of 207 tops as a run out the gate also offered. A tail has been removed from the mob. The Apsley ewes are productive, true to type Ballatherie sheep maturing into large framed productive breeders for past purchasers. The flock enjoyed an average lamb marking of 135% over the past 3 years of scanned ewes. Adult flock averages 3.5-4kg/70mm wool cut at 6 month intervals approx 21 micron. Drenched Tridectin and backlined with Extinosad at shearing. The ewes were vaccinated with 6:1 + B12 at marking and have also received their booster. Predominantly light, some medium wrinkled ewes ready to join the the ram of the purchaser's choosing. NOTE: 1 ewe observed with scur. Only one of a sample of 5 ewes turned over had barley grass seed at assessment, we expect this to increase at delivery.
