300 Ewes that just turned 5 year old. The ewes are large framed, plain bodied and are rising in condition. The ewes are classed proven breeders. The lambs were weaned off the ewes on 24 August. Ewes with a couple more lambs left in them, to mate up to merinos or terminal sires. Annual selloff of older ewes. Raised and run on country between Orroroo and Pekina. Top weight 79 kg, bottom weight 54 kg, averaging 66.1 kg at assessment.
