Assessor Comments
388 4 1/2 year old proven breeder ewes on offer. The ewes are only up for sale due to the lack of feed going forward, and would be normally retained and sold as 5 1/2 year olds. The lambs were weaned off these ewes at the end of June. The Laskey sheep are noted breeders in the Orroroo area for their doing ability, large frame, heavy wool cut and fertility. These ewes will fit either a merino or terminal lamb operation. The ewes are rising in condition and will not disappoint, have done extremely well since shearing. Previous buyers have been extremely happy with these sheep. Top weight 79 kg, bottom weight 51 kg, averaging 64.9 kg at assessment.
